All “customers” (families) and “students”, please acknowledge the following policies prior to enrolling (as part of the enrollment agreement) and before each payment. Online High School ClassesTM (the “merchant”) retains a digital record of these acknowledgements.

This agreement is a contract. When you enroll, you must acknowledge this agreement, and your enrollment enacts this contract. We encourage you to review these policies carefully and resolve any questions prior to enrolling.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Online High School ClassesTM do not issue refunds. Within hours of enrollment, our administration undertakes many tasks, including activating the student account, shipping class materials, contracting the teacher, and establishing electronic and physical files. Even if the student does not attend or begin the course, the preliminary work in our office will be completed, and no refunds will be available. Additionally, refunds are not issued for failed courses.

Should a sudden, unforeseeable change in medical status (e.g., a sudden injury or illness with a prolonged recovery) inhibit a student, Online High School ClassesTM will provide reasonable accommodations to complete enrolled courses. If it is not possible to complete the courses, how to proceed is solely at the discretion of Online High School ClassesTM.

Confirmed or indicated medical, mental health, or learning challenges must be disclosed to Online High School ClassesTM prior to enrollment, or they cannot be considered in financial matters relating to enrolled courses. Documentation from certified medical, mental health, and learning challenge professionals should be included in any request for consideration and accommodation of medical, mental health, or learning challenges. Non-sudden or reasonably foreseeable medical, mental health, or learning challenges disclosed after enrollment may be reasonably accommodated by Online High School ClassesTM upon review of the certifying documentation, but will not be a basis for dropping the class or issuing a refund.

Course Transfer Policy

Online High School ClassesTM do not offer course transfers. As noted in our refund policy, we begin investing financially in student enrollment immediately. Please ensure you select the correct course when purchasing.

Course Payment Policy

All payments are made in full online by the customer. Online High School ClassesTM do not use automatic payments or accept payments by phone or mail. At this time, we do not offer payment installments or financial aid. Additionally, there are no family registration or wait list fees charged by Online High School ClassesTM. All classroom textbooks and shipping costs are included in the course price.

Accessibility to Courses

“Accessibility” refers to the individual customer’s ability (logistical, technical, legal, temporal, etc.) to access Online High School ClassesTM‘ live Zoom classes, class pages and assignments, or third-party resources required for each course. The following technology is required for all Online High School Classes: a laptop or IPAD, internet connection, a printer, Zoom with camera on for student accountability, a headset with microphone, and a scanner or a picture to PDF app such as Adobe Scan.

“Accessibility” also includes any physical, mental, or other conditions that affect the ability to see, hear, or process information online or offline, during or outside of class. Establishing and maintaining accessibility is entirely the responsibility of the customer, including factors of or changes in accessibility due to natural events, regional laws, regional or local technology infrastructure, individual changes or choices, or any other causes, including situations which were unforeseeable or unavoidable.

For unforeseeable changes outside the customer’s or student’s control, Online High School ClassesTM will make a reasonable effort to accommodate them, but may be unable to provide accommodations that suit the customer’s preferences. Regardless of the viability of or preference for accommodation options, there is no refund for lack or loss of accessibility.

Accreditation

Online High School ClassesTM are not accredited at this time, but all course material and instruction align with provincial and state standards for academic and university-level preparation.

Class Closure by Online High School Classes

If an enrolled class closes solely due to the emergent, unforeseeable action of Online High School ClassesTM and its teachers, we will offer a prorated refund of the course tuition based on the unfulfilled class dates.

Unsatisified Course Delivery

Suppose a customer or student considers that Online High School ClassesTM has failed to deliver any aspect of the service and terms written on our websites or in our course catalog, the customer may present their dissatisfaction related to the course or matter in question in writing to Online High School ClassesTM Support. All discussions, appeals and negotiations must be in writing (not phone or chat) directly by the adult customer that owns the account (no third parties).

Each claim in the appeal must specifically cite the written commitment or term of agreement that was not met, and must provide documented examples to objectively support each claim. Online High School ClassesTM continually seeks to improve and will investigate and provide a written determination to resolve each claim. If the customer does not accept a resolution, Online High School ClassesTM will negotiate a closing settlement with the customer and terminate the contract relationship.
